MORE THAN A HUNDRED PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE SOLIDARITY WALK 'WALK FOR THE GOLD'

Last Saturday, July 13, 2024, Red Cross Tarragona and the Tarragona Tennis Club came together to organize the 1st Solidarity Walk 'Caminem per l'Or'; with a resounding success at the level of participants. And it is that more than 100 people were present to carry out the activity, of a charitable nature. The main objective of the event was none other than to collect funds for the organization's projects and to make the 'Sorteig d'Or' more visible, as well as the promotion of physical activity and healthy habits. WEEK 3 OF STAY, OVER

This week's theme was 'TRADITIONS'!

This week, the second of July, has been marked by the theme of 'Traditions and Festa Major'. The children enjoyed making crafts, such as the elements of the entourage, or celebrating festivities, such as 'El Chupinazo', 'San Fermines' or the Baixada de l'Águila. YOGA ON THE BEACH

We are waiting for you all!

With the help of our gym instructor Eli, from the CTT we have organized a YOGA ON THE BEACH. It will take place over 2 days: Saturday, July 20, from 07:45 to 08:45 Saturday, July 27, 07:30 a.m. to 08:45 a.m It is a free activity for members and with a price of €5 for non-members (payment must be made at the Club Reception). THE ABSOLUTE FEMALE TEAM A, SUB-CHAMPION OF TARRAGONA

This weekend, the Provincial Play-Off for Absolute Paddle Teams took place at the Apolo Torredembarra facilities. The Absolut Femení A team of Club Tennis Tarragona, after reaching second place in the regular 1st category league, beat CT Reus Monterols in the semi-finals by 2-1, reaching the grand final. Finally, our players fell against Padel Cambrils by 1-2, obtaining a meritorious provincial runner-up. You are the best team, keep going!

WEEK 2 OF STAY ENDED

This week's theme was 'MOVIE SPORTS'

Week 2 marked the beginning of the month of July, where the theme was 'MOVIE SPORTS'. The boys and girls of the stays have enjoyed making crafts such as Harry Potter's magic wand. They have demonstrated their skills by overcoming a circuit full of obstacles and challenges. They did a gymnasium where they had to find "Chewbacca" and to do that they had to pass different tests throughout the club. To finish, the little ones in the house, showed off the costumes of their favorite films in the great parade of the CTT. We are already ready for the following week!

AINARA POZUELO, RUNNER-UP OF FIP RISE BIELLA

A new experience for our coach!

Ainara Pozuelo, coach of the Padel School of the Tarragona Tennis Club, has managed to reach a new final of the International Padel Circuit. On this occasion, in Italian lands, specifically in Biella, where he contested a FIP RISE. The young paddler, paired with Eugènia Guimet, overcame up to 4 rounds to make it to the grand final. In this way, he has achieved a more than meritorious international runner-up. We also highlight the role of Aina Porta, who at the age of 16 reached the semifinals of the Slam event of the Absolute Circuit of the Catalan Padel Federation. CRACKS!

"PIRATES" theme

We kick off summer 2024 with the first week of the best stays in the province, those of the Tarragona Tennis Club. In the first week, different activities related to the theme of pirates were carried out. The children created their own boat with reused material. MIQUEL PUIGDEVALL, CHAMPION OF PORTUGAL

A new feat from our emblematic player!

Miquel Puigdevall, after managing to maintain the highest national category with the German club 'der clun an der Alster', the next "mission" of our emblematic player was to leave for Portuguese lands, to compete in the National Team Championship in the category Male +60, representative at Club Tennis do Porto. Well, the player of Club Tennis Tarragona played as number 1 of the team and, together with his teammates, they went through up to 4 rounds to obtain the title of national champions. 'PATA NEGRA' DOMINO CHAMPIONSHIP

On September 28, from 4:00 p.m., in the Social Room of the Tarragona Tennis Club, a group of members have prepared a Domino Championship, sponsored by Bondria, the family business dedicated for more than 100 years in the production and sale of handmade sausages and fresh meats of first quality.
